The Values Corpus

A practice instrument: a corpus of named values, Courage 200 and above, each defined by its syntropic form and honest about the counterfeit it becomes below 200 — from which you choose your 64 and see where your centre of gravity actually sits.

The definition is the calibration. Every value in the corpus is placed at the level it is lived from at its truest, and named alongside its shadow — what it turns into when fear or pride drives it.

This is a register entry for a living instrument — the framework is best met by putting your hands on it.

Open the instrument → the Values Corpus

Name what you would not trade. The corpus holds several hundred values, every one placed at the level it is lived from at its truest — Courage 200 and above, because below the line there are no values, only their counterfeits. Each card carries three things: the name, the syntropic form (one line — the definition is the calibration), and the shadow — what the value becomes when fear or pride drives it.

The practice is to choose your 64. Not the ones you'd like to be seen living — the ones you actually live. As you choose, the instrument marks two things on the spine: your centre of gravity (where your chosen values average) and your reach (the highest station you touch). The distance between them is usually the most honest thing on the page.

The corpus is deliberately incomplete. Placing a value of your own is part of the exercise: which level is it lived from at its truest — and what does it become below 200? If you can't name the counterfeit, ask whether it is a value or a preference.

Origins and lineage

The levels and their calibrations are David R. Hawkins' Map of Consciousness; the corpus of values placed on them — syntropic forms, shadows and themes — is original working material.

After David R. Hawkins' Map of Consciousness. Companion practice to the Cone of Light: where the cone teaches the territory, the corpus asks where you actually live in it.
